The Tale About the Clawfoot Tub . . .

Hi, it’s Jenny again. I haven’t abandoned this blog!

This site morphed from our wedding website into our home renovation blog.  Well, last Christmas, Jonathan had the opportunity to meet our house’s former owner.  And this former owner solved a mystery for us.

See, we knew that the second floor bathroom once included the clawfoot tab. I wondered as long as I lived here why someone removed the clawfoot tub and replaced it with a very small tub from the 60’s or 70’s.

Well, this former owner told Jonathan that the original clawfoot tub fell through the floor after decades of use!

I hope that Jonathan can soon blog in more detail about his meeting with the former owner.
