Today’s Lunch Hour
Today I watched the Pittsburgh Penguins victory parade from the 22nd floor of a building several blocks away. Through a telephoto camera lens. And a thick pane of glass.
This is not the best photo of today’s celebration, but it’s mine. I worried through the entire parade that I would miss seeing the actual Stanley Cup. I would make a lousy news photographer. Heck, sometimes I can’t even convince my own family to sit still long enough for me to focus a camera at them.
And yes, I watched this whole parade from the office where I work. I didn’t even attempt to do street level.
