So I had written here a long entry about how I felt while watching this debate. I ran out of fingers counting how many times I wanted to throw something at the screen. Out of touch just doesn’t describe how I really feel about a certain candidate, but it is one of the things that I think I can write here without wanting to remove it later. This isn’t a place for long political diatribes. However, whatever your views may be, get out and vote this November. It’s one of the most important ways to effect change. And, please, we need some change here.

To the candidates:

Stop calling me your friend. I’m not your friend. I’m your employer.

And my name isn’t Joe {plumber|sixpack|whatever}, so stop calling me that.
