Political blogging
There are days that I wish I was a political blogger and that people paid me money to write about days like today. I remember my Dad reporting on election results for Venango County when we lived there. He’d be at the courthouse or the radio station talking to people at the courthouse to report on the results over the air. I guess that got me interested in following election results. I’m watching the coverage of the Iowa Caucuses right now. I think I must drive Jenny crazy with this stuff. She and I like to joke about some of the crazy candidates. It’s fun. Jenny is an awesome wife. 🙂

so how do you feel about obama and huckabee coming out on top? i’m not entirely sure what i think about any of these candidates…

You and me both! I’m still researching people. Unfortunately, HIllary’s speech last night was really flat, lifeless and stiff. I don’t like Huckabee, but he had a good speech. I thought that Edwards had a really good speech. Then there was Obama, who I really didn’t like when he first started to run. His speech last night was pure gold, though. If he keeps up like that, I can easily see him going all the way. We’ll have to see how things go in NH.

I’ve ordered Edwards bumper stickers and yard signs. If history is any indication my endorsement and campaign contribution just doomed his candidacy.

I have a drawer full of buttons and other promotional stuff from the 2000 and 2004 campaigns that would certainly back-up your theory. 🙂
